Information you provide

The membership form collects your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and current study or professional status. Your membership category is determined from that status. You can also provide your institution or organisation, and a short message.

Please do not include medical information, identity documents or other sensitive personal details in your message.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, consider the appropriate membership category and explain the next steps. The team may contact you to request supporting information.

We process these details to take steps at your request before membership and to administer and protect our enquiry service. We do not use the form to sign you up for marketing.

How it reaches us

Your submission is sent by email to the relevant Society team using Resend, our email delivery provider. The website does not keep a permanent database of submissions. Correspondence remains in the Society’s email systems for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting membership administration.

Our hosting and email providers process information to operate the service and protect it from abuse. Their infrastructure may process information outside your country.

Website data

This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Basic technical information may be processed by the hosting provider for delivery, security and reliability. Short-lived anti-spam checks help protect the application form.

Your information and your choices

You can ask to access or correct your information, or request its deletion. You can also raise a concern about how it is used. We will consider requests in line with applicable data protection requirements.
